Beautiful Place, Beautiful Hosts....

I imagine Alpine Heath staff get poached all the time. They are fantastic hosts starting from the warm welcome at the guard house when you enter with an equal one from the reception staff, to the friendly chefs and waiters, to the entertainment staff (Richard is an awesome guy to hike with!), to the room cleaners.....even the GM phoned and checked on us! - where does that happen? Everyone seems to love their work and ensure your stay is so welcoming and seamless. It almost makes the beautiful surrounds more beautiful.....they really treasure their guests. It has gorgeous hiking trails, plenty stuff for kids and teens and the food was simply superb. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with lovely views, not forgetting the fireplace. I'm already checking dates to see what this place looks like in summer time....you gotta put this one in your bucket list, especially if you have a young family. My only downside ?.....I didn't stay long enough to experience all their hospitality and facilities - what an anti-climax driving back to Johanesburg.

family weekend

Thank you for the great weekend of world class cutomer service! All staff were friendly and went out of their way to answer questions and deliver good quick service. There was lots to do for the whole family. The babysitter on the one night allowed mom and dad to walk to and from the bar for an adult night out after a day of family/kiddie activity.
